Kyrgyzstan Hunting and Extortion

No matter the country, there are outfitters that scam. There are an abundant outfitters with great reputations, carefully research first then select.
The point I was trying to make is that there does not seem to be an abundant number of good outfitters for Kyrgyistan and having a bad experience is the norm not the exception.

I don’t think there’s an outfitter in Russia I’d trust enough to hunt with these days. Russia is in a shooting war and my country is supplying their enemy (victims actually) with bullets to fight back. The odds of being arrested as a spy or agitator are just too high.
Went there once on a Brown Bear hunt, will never go back for many of the same reasons.

So scratching Kyrgyzstan off the list due to repeated sketchiness, where are the remaining best bang for your buck hunting opportunities outside of Africa?

Other mid Asian countries? Eastern Europe? South America?

Greenland for Cairobu and Spain for Ibex would be my pick. Possibly Australia for Water Buffalo also.

They are an impressive Trophy and the Norhern Territory is a really interesting part of Australia with very good salt water fishing and wild boar opportunities also.

Kazakhstan for ibex , maral , siberian roe deer , wild boar , wolf , bukharan deer , saiga antelope , moose small population ,

Uzbekistan is up there - have not been but have read some reports and spoken to hunters and looks to be well organized - you also have Severtzov Argali , Bukharan Markhor , Bukharan Urial , Wild boar , Bukharan deer .

Slovenia for chamois , roe deer , fallow , red deer , mouflon , ibex , bear , wild boar. Slovenia is better priced than most other european countries

Every time I hear Kazakhstan I think of this guy.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
