Looks like a major problem there.
I guess it will escalate into a mini civil war and hunting there will be a no go.
Very tragic

I wouldn’t go that far. Problem is in a relatively small area along the northeast coast. Niassa is the closest area and in my opinion the only area that Could be affected. Should be no problems there especially if you fly in via Lichinga.

I hope so
Best wishes

"But Mozambique's central government - particularly its ruling party - dealt with gas companies directly in exchange for most of the profits. Locals, mostly struggling subsistence farmers and fishermen, were left out, with many losing access to their farmland and fisheries."

And history repeats itself. Same problem in Nigeria. Hopefully the US intervention will include a crash course on how to avoid obvious problems.

This insurgency is all about the LNG $$ and I seriously doubt it will spread beyond the area in question.

I can't seem to find the other thread regarding the ISIS attacks in NE Mozambique but it seems like the US is in the game:

That's funny because I can't find it either unless someone who apparently can see it post on it and puts it on the main forum page. That has happened to a couple posts that I have viewed. One was about John Sharpe that he posted on recently. Strange.

The information I found on Africa and the various fighting going on is on the News24 and BBC News online networks.

Go to Google search:
Type in News24 Africa
Hit search

From the News24 homepage you can search various sections:
Africa, Business, Travel, etc..

BBC news online reports a few updates and additional information on various Africa countries fighting ISIS and other terrorist groups.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
