Politics

There is a clear message this morning to the Democrats; you lost to someone that you said had no chance due to felony conviction, lack of maturity, private life, fascist, etc., etc.

If Trump was/is all of those things, AND you lost the electoral college, the popular vote, and both houses, you may want to take some time (4 years or so) to reflect.

Stop pandering to the ultra left. You have their votes. They weren't going to vote red no matter what. Think about those that are sick and tired of the fringe idiocy that is going on. Run on an actual platform, not "he is terrible, vote for me".

Maybe then, we can end up with a couple of candidates that might actually makes sense to listen to.

Looking today for a bump in Pfizer stock. It produces Zoloft, a top selling anti-depressant. After yesterday, the scripts will be filling up the pharmacies' computers.

Conciliatory? Im sure Trump will be to some degree. But after 8 years of being called a right wing extremist MAGA Nazi, I’m much less inclined. I have a memory like a ele. Wonder how MAGA crow is best served, luke warm or cold... ;)

Need to send some of that Zoloft over to the dried up liberal vagina's on "The View".
Their meltdown is going to be epic.

While out walking the dogs on this beautiful morning, it did seem like the air was a little cleaner and the birds were chirping a bit more happily. ;-)

In all seriousness though, I do hope that Trump's administration properly capitalizes on this win, and really sets the table for Vance in 2028.

With all due respect to the other supporters, cheers to Trump, Vance, Rogan, and Musk...the Four Horsemen of this election victory.

IF Trump could get past Trump and not get in his own way. He could spend the next couple months, before Inauguration Day calming things down and letting moderates know he is their president also.

That of course does not mean that the leftist should be swept out of DC. He should bring moderate D’s into the fold and team. But, he still needs fire the heads of most of the agencies on day one.

DOJ and FBI not a complete house cleaning.
I disagree on your last point.

The heads of agencies always change, but it is middle levels that need the cleansing. They are the Peter Strzoks and Lisa Paiges, the ones who have worked their way up enough to cause damage but not get replaced by incoming administrations as they fly under the radar.

I firmly believe Trump will bring in a team, to comb through more than any president before. The weaponization of the DOJ was a large voting factor and Trump felt that sword numerous times.

I'm guessing "not" was a type-o and was probably meant to be "need." At least that's the way I read it.

House-cleaning needs to start on 21 January '25 by revoking a bunch security clearances.

I edited and elaborated a bit more. They don't get replaced as they are often overlooked in the process. They won't be this time.

Trump has repeatedly claimed that the Ukraine-Russia war would not have started if he had been president. He has also vowed to end the war, sometimes even claiming he would stop the years-long conflict before taking office. In July, he said he could settle the conflict in one day.

Ok. Donald..the job is yours..lets see you deliver on this promise..one day..!

Will Ukraine survive as a sovereign state now..?

Yep.. the GS15 and SES/SIS mafia are right at the core of the problem in DC.

Far more problematic than the political appointees that head departments and agencies…

If you want to clear the proverbial swamp, you don’t just lop off the top of the mangroves… you have to pull them up by their deeply entrenched roots..

A bittersweet day here in Delaware, now just another state bent on socialism. We now have a transgender U.S. rep and a professional politician elected to the Senate. The legislature is controlled wholly by Democrats and the last chance for a Republican governor fell to a left leaning ex-teacher.

All I want is 90% of the federal government gone.
As for working across the aisle with the enemy, NO!
There isn’t a democrat alive worth shaking hands with and very few republicans too. It’s time to tear it all down and rebuild like our founders intended.

Good Morning x84958
I have read your post about Jamy Traut and your hunt in Caprivi. I am planning such a hunt for 2026, Oct with Jamy.
Just a question , because I will combine Caprivi and Panorama for PG, is the daily rate the same the week long, I mean the one for Caprivi or when in Panorama it will be a PG rate ?
thank you and congrats for your story.
Best regards
Philippe from France

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
Philippe
