Well, using your logic RFK Jr. should be out for any post as well, he went from running for President for Democrats to Independent to supporting Trump within a year. He also has written the book on saying wacky stuff.
Yup, don’t like him either.

I’m not an RFK fan at all.. He is a nut.. AND I did say it should be case by case…….

If you believe every person thats served the pentagon in the last 10 years is a part of the swamp... you might as well go on and kill yourself now... you're never going to find happiness...
I don’t look for happiness.

As for killing myself, no. I’ll wait until the next revolution/war of northern aggression.

Thank you for your service. That and $5 will get you a cup of coffee from a country that is becoming a Third World country. Trump just slowed down the progress a little. The American voters have a short memory and will elect the party of evil again. Most likely in two years in the Senate.

Don’t let the doorknob hit you where the good Lord split you.

The reporting could be premature, but Newsmax has them at 218, and News nation at 219.
Speaker Johnson also stated they have control of the house. Results have to verified I'm sure.

I’m still seeing 214-215 for us. Who’s reporting the 219?

Any adult human being who endorsed Bernie has some incredibly flawed judgment. People can change but that wasn’t long ago. I can’t take her seriously.

"Mr President, you've blamed the recession on mistakes of the past, does any of the blame fall on you?"
Sam Donaldson

"Yes, because for many years I was a Democrat."
Ronald Reagan

I did say what I said should be on a case by case basis. She’s no Reagan.

We as conservatives should welcome new members into the fold but we shouldn’t be naive about it..

What's the story with New Mexico? Why solid blue? Lot's of native Americans, lots of Hispanics, and lots of Federal employees. A bastion of blue in a sea of red.

@Field28

I knew Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan was a friend of mine. Tulsi Gabbard is no Ronald Reagan.

The military industrial complex is part of that swamp that needs some flushing.

@Brent in Az you are so naiive! Thank God for the military industrial complex. Where do you think 155 mm shells come from? The US Military/Industrial complex plays a big part of keeping the big bad bear away. And that includes the Russian brown bear and the Chinese panda.

Producing Military products for the Defense of the Nation is not the problem.

Disobedience to lawful orders given by the Commander in Chief is a NO-GO.

LOL..... Naive for stating that some of the swamp resides in the DOD?

Some of the problem absolutely rests inside the DOD... but most of the real problem on the DOD side will get flushed out relatively quickly... there will be a new SECDEF, a new Deputy SECDEF, new SEC Army, SEC Navy, etc..etc.. all in place very soon.. Flag Officers appointed to positions that have been very politically vocal in favor of the outgoing party typically start retiring fairly quickly (they know their careers are over inside the pentagon and there is about to be a lot of competition for positions on the outside.. its better to be on the front of that wave than on the back side of it)..

There is absolutely a GS15/SES mafia inside the DOD of deeply entrenched bureaucrats that will be a whole lot harder to root out than the secretaries, under secretaries, deputy secretaries, etc.. but they arent nearly as much of a problem within the DOD as their cousins are inside DOS, DHS, DOJ, and other organizations in my experience..

My beef with many of the GS15 mafia within the DOD lies more in incompetence and laziness than it does with corruption or politicizing their positions like their cousins in the other departments, bureaus, and agencies..

Thats not to say they are all bad.. there are a lot of really good career civilians within the DOD... many that truly love their country, want to serve their country, and show up every day trying to do the best job they possibly can..

Unfortunately the public sector isnt like the private sector though.. and allows for a larger percentage of turds to permeate the proverbial punch bowl..
