We have seen what happens when a secular ruler is replaced with a religious zealot. What could possibly go wrong?
The leader of Tahrir al-Sham that goes by the name of Abu Mohammad al-Jolani has a $10 million dollar State Department bounty on his head. Looks like he is the new boss in Syria.
What could possibly go wrong?

I really don’t get the obsession with the grammar mistakes everyone is getting exited about. Usually easy to spot non-English speaker or English as second language errors.

What do they say about stones and glass houses? My favorite examples for those from the US and who speak English as primary or only language who routinely slaughter the language and grammar where common errors become acceptable. Could be called the “Ah shucks, just don’t know no better” bubba excuse. :) :)

Three common ones, among many, that make me cringe-

Incorrect use of “then” and “than” within a sentence

Incorrectly using “could care less” instead of “couldn’t care less”

Mis-pronunciation of “etcetera” with something like “ekcetera” or “exetera”
Always bothers me when they AXE me a question.

@Hunt anything I seen what you posted and I have some advise......never try to sale anything with incorrect wording......you will be a looser.
and @capra-capra Thank you for posting your points......discussion of contentious issues is a step toward solving them.........chest pounding and shouting "we won, we won" is for children. I appreciate your posts, even if not always agreeing .....FWB
I’ll take that under advicement next time I axe you a question you know. LOL

LOL. I bet this was a surprise to Alvin Bragg after lobbying against a mistrial and demanding further deliberations on the lesser offense. This kid would have been convicted two years ago both by the jury and the press, so perhaps we are turning a page. There are some BLM agitators outside the courthouse so we may have a riot yet. It is, after all, nearly Christmas.

Perhaps the average New York city resident has had the opportunity to voice that they've had enough of the increase in crime in their city. I've been to NYC a couple times, very short visits. We took in what we could, but I've always wanted to go back to see more of it. At least until recently, not so inclined anymore.

Even mexico is getting safer,"' in the news' a mob killed 2 men that kidnapped a little girl . could even be " prescient" of things to come in usa. whod a ever thunk it.

Good news, but I won't hold my breath for significant changes in Mexico and for it's citizens as a whole.

Prescient = to know beforehand,, apparent knowledge of things before they happen, foreknowledge
I sometimes use hyphenated words as well - often with multiple syllables.

Ridge Runner, I checked his profile first to see if he was, in fact, a non-native English speaker but could not find where he was from. If I could have found evidence that English was not his first language, I would have certainly extended him that courtesy.

I also paired my initial perception with a later post in which fought was spelled “faught”

I can neither confirm nor deny his education level or being a non-native English speaker.

The only evidence to support my presumption he is a foreigner is the way he: misuses words and how he writes his comments; as you pointed out looser- loser, fought-faught. Much like a foreigner that has a "broken English" familiarity with the English language.

Luigi wants to be a martyr

The Maryland native graduated top of his high school class and went on to major in computer science at University of Pennsylvania

Mangione read this year Unabomber Theodore Kaczynski’s “Industrial Society and its Future”, which he rated four out of five stars

Mangione graduated as Valedictorian of the private, all-boys Gilman School in 2016, according to the Baltimore school’s website.
