Pretty sure Letitia James little tantrum on the news today could qualify as a threat against the health and safety of the president elect……

Meh… she suddenly finds herself irrelevant… and tries to capture the last little bit of her 15 minutes of fame that the good Lord will allow..

Trump is all for pushing back the fed govt and giving the states their rights back…

Letitia and her so beloved governor can run their state straight into the ground if they so choose…

They just won’t get any federal dollars to help them do it… which is what she’s really worried about…

She wants her proverbial cake and to be allowed to eat it too… they want have sanctuary cities that openly and intentionally violate federal law… while at the same time want the fed govt to provide funding for their state courts and police agencies… they want to allow illegals to occupy federally subsidized housing…

I’m pretty sure trump could care less if they want to adhere to DEI hiring practices for their school districts or teach CRT in the classrooms… he just isn’t going to throw them federal assistance and funding to do it…

I hope Trump has enough sense and leverage to keep this character under control, but still on the reservation. Neither Liz Cheney nor Mark Milley are going to prison. I suspect Trump also has enough sense not to attempt to round up 10-20 million people and deport them. What I suspect he will do is aggressively go after our leading trading partner - Mexico - and the criminals roaming the country. The remainder, many of whom will be potential republican supporters in our brave new world, will be the basis of a deal on a bipartisan comprehensive immigration solution. Laura Ingraham won't be pleased, but I hope Trump is smart enough to realize she and her ilk do not matter.

I completely agree on the illegals, it would be political suicide even if the polls say people want it. Put the screws to Mexico to put a halt to it on their side of the border. He threatened to use tariffs for leverage for this.

He should also make it known to the people here illegally that if they break another law in this country they and their families will be deported. He would have to have help from the local LEOs for this as well and if local jurisdictions won’t help they would forfeit any federal money they receive.

Trump could ban any Federal Highway construction funds to so called "sanctuary" cities, states, etc., based on the fact the illegals are using Federally funded highways to travel to and from those jurisdictions, many without valid drivers' licenses, insurance and vehicle registrations. Nixon did it in the '70s with the mandatory 55mph speed limit requirement, Reagan did it in the '80s with the mandatory use of seatbelts and 21yoa age to buy alcohol and Clinton in the '90s with a mandatory helmet law for motorcyclists. Maybe a stretch but not by much.
