SOUTH AFRICA: Paw Print Safaris & Me Hunt 2016

Congrats Charlie! Look forward to many more pics!

Man you had a good trip. What a way to get it done on the last day with the Giraffe! No pressure, I'm sure. Looking forward to seeing more pics and glad you had a great trip.

Arrived in Atlanta this morning and with Global Entry I was first in line at the gun room and as Royal said they sprayed things in there which was fast. Rechecked everything easily and through the secondary security fast!
Sitting in the Delta Club now sipping a coffee. Boarding up in 20 minutes for Kansas City.

Again I can't say enough about Paw Print Safaris and the fine people at Flintbeck Lodge. If you have the chance to hunt with Pieter ......jump on it. You will not regret the decision!

Good morning Charlie. Glad things are going smooooothly on re-entry.

Morning Clayton! By the time I arrive in KC this journey home will be about 25 hours since the time Pieter's sister dropped me off at OR Tambo!
But I slept about 6.5 hours on the plane so not too bad!

Congrats on a great safari Charlie!

Global entry is definitely the way to go! Gets you automatic TSApre too, if you don't have it yet

Welcome back!

Congratulations on your hunt Charlie.

Glad the return trip is almost over. Be safe.

Thanks guys! Made it home safely!

Good to see your home. Regards to all.

Congrats Charlie, glad it went well!

What an excellent trip you had. Looks like the hunting was phenomenal! Congrats on some magnificent trophies, Charlie!
And congrats to Paw Print for providing an exceptional hunt for him. Love to see that!

Welcome home Charlie, what an adventure.

Great waterbuck, really like it when they have lots of compression on the lower growth rings! Super sable and eland as well, glad you made it back safe and sound.

Can't hardly wait for my next trip to KC to look at all of your pictures and drink some of your fine bourbon. You had a great hunt Charlie, now you are going to have to hire an architect to do a layout of your trophy room to see where all of your recent acquisitions will fit. LOL

I like the way you think sir! Your hunt is coming up fast

Thought I would post a little better picture of the Hornady DGX 416 round that found both lungs of my Giraffe. All the petals opened and the round looks like it maintained most if not all of its 400 grains.

Kind of surprised you recovered it.

On my last day in South Africa Pieter took me to his home to visit with an old friend from last years hunt.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary
