Safaris, or at least the shooting part of a safari, usually end when one of three things occur:

1. The hunter runs out of ammo

2. The hunter runs out of money

3. Its time to go home

All 3 are sad events.

Great waterbuck! The most 'regal' looking of all the antelope I think. And contrary to popular opinion, if you skin them carefully, they are good eating!

I am with Ruger Fan - running out of ammo???!!! Good think the other rifle isn't a Lott!

And the Ruger 416 Guide Gun did it's job again on Giraffe! Hornady DGX 400 grain found both lungs and came to rest just under the skin on the far shoulder!
