I have owned 7 DRs in most popular calibers. I have not owned a 450 NE. I am reaching out asking if anyone interested in selling theirs? Thanks!!!
I think another trip to Tsala Safaris for Cape Buffalo should be in order, you know a field test is the only proper way to test it out! Here are some pictures. She is a plain lady but magnificent to me. She goes well with my 275 Highland stalker

Congrats!! The DR looks to be in a great shape.I just bought a John Rigby in 450 NE. I already got the Rigby ledger certificate 450 NE from Rigby which is always cool. It was built in 1906. It was recently rebarreled, reblued and the stock redone by T Page Wood of Bristol England. I now have everything to go with it. Just have to see if Trader Keith still makes #2 fillers otherwise have to cut my own open foam fillers. I saw an identical rifle, same caliber and Rigby in the same year and serial number also redone except not rebarreled like mine for 2.5 times what I paid on FI given I bought mine from an estate sale. As always it will be off to JJ Perodeau to check it out to make it mechanically perfect. Excited!
OMG!!!! Only you could find my guy!!! I just said Earl because I don’t know what a Viscount is but this matches up perfectly!!! Many thanks my friend!!!!! Priceless to me!!!This may be you guy. His father was Earl of Leicester or Viscount Coke. THE HONOURABLE Commander (retired) Roger Coke, A.F.C., R.N. (28 December, 1886 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
First the best is by far @rookhawk bar none! It is hard to find estate sales however if you spend enough time on GI you will start to see people who seem to get estate sales. Then honestly it is just pure luck being in the right place at the right time. please don’t forget while I have learned T Page Wood in England is a very well respected company I am never comfortable until JJ Perodeau has taken it apart to make sure it is as mechanicaly perfect as possible. I will let everyone know after JJ reviews itCongrats!! The DR looks to be in a great shape.
How do you guys find these estate sales with such nice firearms deals?
