Thanks for the reply. I have seen those - they are way " over priced ". Of my 18 Brevex Mausers in my collection, I have never paid anywhere those prices.

What price are they asking?
That rifle is a rare gem. As I`m sure you have noticed its a Brevex M400 with a thumb cut witch makes it a rarety.
This rifle (if everything checks out) is obviously a genuine vintage Rigby Big Game with all the bells and whistles. Everything you will expect to find on a vintage Rigby are there. Only red flags for me is year of manufacture 1995..that clearly must be wrong. I`d say closer to 1955 if legit.

Well, that one is selling for three to four times what I paid for mine. see my post below from when I acquired mine and posted it here ... and .... the 1995 year may be correct ...

WELL, I FINALLY FOUND No. 14 BREVEX - WHAT A FIND - AN ORIGINAL POST WAR JOHN RIGBY BREVEX IN 416 RIGBY CALIBER - CASED WITH ALL THE ACCESSORIES.

Brought over ...... As you may have noticed, I haven't posted in a while because I have not found any new treasures worth mentioning ... until now ....

I had been diligently searching to add another Brevex to my collection. Its been over a year that #13 was added in September of 2022, I was worried that I was stuck on "unlucky 13" forever. But not so ...

The rifle in question is apparently sold. Seller confirmed date of MFG to 1995 so you were right there and it raises some red flags at least for me.
