You can’t go wrong with a Dillon 550. I would be mad without mine.

I found a 550 press in a dumpster, with Dillon 44 mag dies in the tool head. I’ve been to frugal to get it set up but I need to.

No reloading this week, instead gonna be testing a box of GECO Plus bonded 255 grain 9.3x62mm factory ammo. I sorted them by OAL and will take the 5 longest to the range.

The box says 2,550 fps MV. We'll soon know how that shakes out...

Reloading new cartridges would be great, but I‘m short of powder!
No Hodgon H4895 available here anymore! All US Powders are rare these days! Think about settling on Vithavuori N140 as Allrounder for 308, 9,3x62, 425 Express and 458 Win! Ukraine war makes all gun powder a very much asked product!

Ach ja, its sad! H4895 was doing very well for me and made all easy real long time, I hope N140 is coming nearby in performance and flexibility, that I dont have to store 5 different powders in my storage,
Wish me luck!

Besides, does anybody of You guys has experience with Vitha N140?

I find N140 a kissing cousin to Varget. If you luv H4895, then consider N530, though being a 500-class powder, is double based.

Though a little nitro through the barrel now and then is no harm, no foul. Just not a steady diet.

Loading for 9.3x62: Hammer 242gr HHT with IMR 3031is showing some promise. It’s OAL is 3.505”. A little long for most 9.3x62 actions but my R8 eats them fine. Hope to go out this weekend to finish up.

I've used VVN140 in .308 for standard 165 gr. loads and for light bullets 220-235gr. in 9.3x62. No surprises, no concerns. Velocities were about what was predicted by the VV website load data.
