Well.... I have had a varied career.
I started & owned my own commercial sign shop from 1991 to 2018; sold but am now back part time.
I started a retail gun shop in 2003; sold it in 2019.
I am also heavily involved part time in ministry. I am an ordained ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church of America and licensed to preach and also involved in discipleship.
I don't think I have actually 'worked' a day in my life!
God has been VERY GOOD!

I'm an environmental specialist (not the type that puts the mental in environMENTAL). Specialise in habitat surveys, stocking capacities, vegetation surveys etc etc. Was previously the Group Environmental Manager for an international construction / mining / engineering company where it was mainly mining licenses etc and writing policies and procedures, and generally keeping the bosses out of jail or the environment from being bulldozed too much.

Now working in HSE and doing environmental consulting on the side.

My 'official' role is in New Product Development for one of the large US brewers. I've done it 3 years, initially for Europe working out of the UK and more recently for the Americas (eventually from Wisconsin). The role is a mix of product development, project management, process optimisation and QA.

It's my first job out of Uni, I enjoy it, and I'm still new enough in role to be learning a lot. We'll see how I feel in another 5 years I guess, but I intend to stay in the beverage industry for at least the medium term.

I am happily retired from a career in the electric utilities field. Started as an apprentice lineman in 1984 and retired the director of operations of a city utility in Ontario.
A very rewarding career! Powered up northern remote communities and always volunteered for storm damage assistance.

I decided 10 years ago not to wait on retirement to see more of the world and travel. I see too many people with plans for the future die too soon without following there dreams. After my father's death, I sought to live every moment to the fullest, serve Jesus and others, and see the world in the process.

Covid did not interrupt my plans completely. I had plans to hunt New Zealand Tahr and South Africa which are now delayed to July 2022. So, I did an Aoudad hunt, an elk hunt, and bear hunt. I head to Idaho in a few week for a spring black bear hunt. Hopefully things will get back on track.

I enjoy my work serving God and others. I also enjoy my travels, adventure, hunting, photography, shooting, and family. My wife loves to travel and goes on all my hunts. She is a great shot with a Nikon Camera.

Life is too short!

Minerals processing engineer, got the degree at Wits University, the professional license through MIMM London. Co-own a business that designs, manufactures and installs processing plants. It is interesting work, mentally stimulating, but I have had enough now and want my kids to buy me out. They want a loan to afford to!

really a professional dilettante though and have worked in IT, telephony, map production, and newspaper writing. Have also written a biography.

awseome. My wife worked at Harborview Level 1 in Seattle as an MRI tech. Busy place! Still have many friends in and around the rad department.

Was a farm worker as a kod while in school. Dropped out at 16 to tale care of my father with cancer. Went to night school at 20 and received my g.e.d. did 2 yrs community college for a paralegal cert. Didnt car for law study. So wound up getting a job at a proving grounds for nissan motor corp. My back ground with farming/laser leveling/cad helped me get it. Nossan had a big layoff when the controlling interest was bought out. So without a job and living in a small town, I went to truck driving school on weekends for 2 months, while working as a diesel mechanic at a local garage. I drove for a company for 1.5yrs. Then bought a truck, acouple years later bought another truck and so on. Now after over 20 years in trucking, Im proud to have my own fleet. Aswell as build race cars as a passion and profit.
Life is never easy, but can also be much more difficult with bad decisions!

Got an AS degree in Timber Management at Hocking Tech in southeastern Ohio years ago, and ended up spending all of my adult working career conducting stationary source emission testing (smokestack testing). Hoping to make it last another 8 years.

I have had on and off work in Zambia in renewable energy but I shall shortly be relocating back to South Africa in the hopes of more stable work. It’s really interesting reading the scope of work people are involved in. Imagine the AH community starting a super conglomerate and being paid in hunting days
