Hi Micheal

Makes it a bit difficult to book a hunt for 2018 if the prices is not available until December!

There is a lot of planning that has to go into making decision like that and the price is an integral aspect of the info needed

Kind regards

Frederik

Another buffalo Safari today after a couple of days hard hunting that resulting in a wide solitary bull that was tracked and taken by Chris (member here at AH) with a 416 Rigby at 40 yards, it was a full charge that ended well... perhaps Chris like to tell the story himself here at AH when he is back in U.S again.
Best regards Michael.

Very nice bull, look forward to Chris' report!

Chris has eyes as wide as the bulls horns. I love it. Michael it appears you folks hit the cover off the ball. Congrats to all involved. Jacques

Thank you Jacques, Chris was finishing his safari today with a nice 26" Roan, and we will after a couple days drive him to Kafue flats for Kafue Lechwe....
All the best from all of us at Mbizi.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
