Bob Nelson convinced me - 35 Whelen

Oh dear, not another 35 Whelan lover!" You know Bob only likes them because he's in Australia, is therefore upside down and all the blood has rushed to his head as result, right?

He does speak sense on 308W derrived cartridges though. Pretty much inferior and as for that 6mm-08 abomination...

If only they would have used a little common sense and made a 25-08 it would at least been useful.

actually australia is in the top1/2 of the world, and europe and usa are in the bottom 1/2.
bruce.

In some ways that's right and it is all a matter of perspective but I will say that Europe and the USA are definitely the "Superior" hemisphere ;)
@Scrumbag
Superior to what, a Neanderthal. At least Australia has the OLDEST civilization in the world.

Hey now Neanderthals were pretty awesome hunters in there own right, anyone who faced down cave bears with a stone tipped spear gets my respect.

You've also got New Zealanders and Boers so not that civilised ;)
@Scrumbag
Scummy they are great people as well. Without New Zealand we wouldn't have the ANZACS and without the Boers we wouldn't be hunting south Africa.
So stiff upper lip and have a nice cup of tea ya mad pommy git.
Bob

australia, the great land up over.
new zealand, australias appendix.
bruce.
@bruce moulds
Last one to leave New Zealand please turn the lights out. I know why NZ horses run so fast. They have seen what happens to the sheep by those gumboots wearers.

Tea is indeed lovely, Rooinek and proud my friend. My grandfather was an English Missionary with the LMS and CWM to Beuchana Land Protectorate which became modern day Botswana doncha know old boy.

The way I heard it, only the dumbest New Zealanders move to Australia, thereby raising the average IQ of both countries...

;)
@Scrumbag
At least we can measure our intelligence, it may not be Einstein level but far higher than any Englishman. At least we don't drink hot beer.

Your grandfather was a good man a lot of the missionary people did good work. They had to after the brits invaded. The British invented the silliest game out, takes 5 days to get a result and played in summer when sane people are in air conditioning or pubs. Cricket. I know why the call it silly mid on/off because you have to be bloody stupid to stand there. Even when they say OVER they still keep playing. One day the ponies might beat Australia

That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
