Some table saw knife blades I profiled for using as kitchen/camp knives to barter/trade with during the black powder hunt....

Here are the blades with their preliminary bevels before hardening and then the tempering process...these are kitchen/camp kitchen knives..

Here are the same knife blades hardened, it is currently in the oven to be tempered

I am commencing putting the vice/anvil together to complete the project..

Some good quality charcoal I burned in my charcoal burner..this will be used in my new charcoal forge with a blower as a power source..

Yes, Garry it is all copper and trimmings are mild steel heated in a forge and bend to it`s form

I managed to complete my first smal chopping axe as well as working on another camp knife...

Chris Moolman in action, he is assisting my good friend Herman Nel with inspanning the oxen. Chris Moolman is one of the last knowledgeable person to train oxen. Yes, Garry you are correct..I really think you then definitely need to join me for such a hunt..you can conduct forging knife making courses for the hunters...and definitely help me making food for the hunters...
